最近在Manchester租的studio终于搞明白了energy tariff怎么选！之前一直用standard variable rate，上个月比较了Octopus和British Gas的fixed tariff，果断换了12个月固定费率，算下来一年能省£200+。建议新生入住后第一件事就是查EPC rating和对比能源公司，别像我一样白白多交半年钱。顺便安利Octopus的app，usage breakdown做得超清晰，能看出heating和hot water各用多少，方便调整用电习惯。
